Social media to play big role in State of the Union address

If you find yourself away from a television during President Obama’s State of the Union address, here are some helpful links to stream and use social media around the President’s State of the Union address starting at 8pm:
Follow the SOTU live:
- Watch a live stream on Quora, “an intelligent discussion site,” where you can post discussion questions and receive answers from certified experts. White House staff will be answering questions tonight and throughout the week.
- Watch an enhanced live stream (with charts, stats and data) at WhiteHouse.gov/SOTU
- Follow comments on Twitter using the hashtag #SOTU or #SOTU2012
To ask Obama and White House staff questions after the speech:
- Head to WhiteHouse.gov/SOTU directly after the speech to see senior White House officials answer questions submitted from:
- White House’s Facebook page
- White House’s Google+ page
- Twitter using the hashtag #WHChat
- On January 30, hear President Obama’s answers to submitted questions in a live Google+ hangout at 5:30pm EST. Submit questions via:
