Partner Profiles: True Design

Tell us about your organization.

True Design was founded in 2004 by Donna Berenson after several years at a leading interactive agency. Jamie Bloomquist joined True Design in 2006, bringing his insight from leading interactive projects at Northwestern Mutual.

Our interactive services meet and exceed those of an agency, without the people layers and costs. We are able to quickly create a dynamic team of hand-picked senior-level talent tailored to your project needs.

Our expertise in research, strategic planning, branding, design and technology uncovers your unique goals. Each offering lays the groundwork for a successful project.

Our clients value our ability to learn the details of their brand, process and culture.

What kinds of technology does your organization utilize?

Since we are a Web Design and Development firm, most of our output is in third party software and tools for streamlining audio, video, blogging and content management.

What technological challenges does your organization currently face?

A common challenge for our firm is striking a balance between implementation/monthly fees and client requirements.

What, if any, technology policy issues are of importance to your organization? (green technology, broadband deployment, privacy, etc.)

WiFi access is a critical when on the road. We assumed that more areas in the state would have it by now.

We have considered solar, since we have a home office and rely heavily on electricity. The ROI on solar is too far in the future and it is hard to make an investment during a tight economy.

How does your organization see the future of technology in Wisconsin?

I think green technology will increase in our state, mainly in wind power.

Why did you decide to partner with Wired Wisconsin?

We hope to network and learn from peers in our industry.
