Mobile users also winners at the Big Game

While John Harbaugh’s Baltimore Ravens walked away from the Super Bowl with the coveted Vince Lombardi trophy, mobile users at the Superdome were also winners at the Big Game.
Even with the stadium’s power outage, AT&T’s network inside the Superdome withstood mobile users consuming 80 percent more data than during last year’s Super Bowl at Indianapolis. In fact, during the game’s halftime and power outage, more calls were made and more text messages were sent than any other time period of the Big Game.
With more than 73,000 calls made and 388 GB of data used at the Superdome during Sunday’s game, mobile users looking to share their experience were able to tweet, Facebook, Instagram, text and call their family and friends successfully.
